Institute of Technological Development for Industry (ITDI)
The Institute of Technological Development for Industry (ITDI), an academic service centre being established since 1991, has been committed to promote the competence of workforce and development of technology to increase the country’s competitive advantages. The institute encourages the integration of academic service and education with an aim to sustainably contribute to the country’s economic growth. ITDI is certified to the internationally-recognized ISO 9001:2015.

The core mission of ITDI is to provide academic services for the government, the local community and the private sectors in business and industry, in term of offering training programs, seminars, lecturers, testing and investigation services, academic and consulting services, and research service. With a strong determination to promote the development of workforce of industrial sector, ITDI offers public training and in-house training for a wide range of professions, such as boiler operator, environmental officer in factory, environmental manager, waterpollution supervisor, air pollution supervisor, industrial waste supervisors, water pollution officers, air pollution officers, andindustrial waste officers.
In addition, ITDI was registered by the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, Ministry of Labor, to be a center for providing training programs to the four groups of safety officer as follows:
- Safety Officer Supervisory level
- Safety Officer Management Level
- Safety Committee
- Safety department executive.
Furthermore, the Virtual Reality Startup Center is also the area of ITDI’s expertise, the institute provides the training program for those who are interested on Virtual Reality, including education officers, students, staff from the industry and specialized agencies, and the general public.
